Anya Shroff daughter of Pesi Shroff won on her very first ride in a Gymkhana Race held in Mumbai after the last race on Sunday, April 20th held for Amateur Riders. Interestingly, Anya punched home a “no-hoper” named “Hope” winning by a short-head riding after duelling for over 150m of the Mumbai strait and survived an objection by the rider of the second placed horse who insisted the he had won !
